Sinds begin Maart heeft Annemie aan veel vergaderingen deelgenomen…
Zo zijn er al 4 meetings achter de rug van het “bureau” van de Liberale Internationale. Niet in London of Rabat of Frankfurt…. maar via de zgn “zoom/videoconferenties” waren alle deelnemers thuis.
Ook het OpenVLD partijbestuur vergadert op die wijze. Elke maandagvoormiddag om 09:30 start die vergadering.
En tot nog toe ging dat allemaal redelijk goed.
Annemie Neyts Uyttebroeck , zal in London deelnemen aan de bureaumeeting van LI.

The 63rd Session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women will take place on Friday 15th of March 2019 at 4.30pm ( Church Centre 8th floor ) New York .
It is a INLW Side Event on the Istanbul Convention and social protection.

With the Andorra Liberal Manifesto in hand, the global liberal family returns to the cradle of West African democracy to debate the future of liberalism . This 62nd Congress of Liberal International will be held in cooperation with the Senegalese member parties APR, PDS and REWMI.
Annemie Neyts-Uyttebroeck, President of Honor Liberal International ( Open VLD) will chair some sessions of the congress.
Mrs. Hakima el Haité, Former Moroccan Minister, ( Mouvement Populaire) will be elected new President of LI.

Ter voorbereiding van het Congres van Liberal International dat eind november in Dakar plaatsvindt, neemt Annemie Neyts deel aan de vergadering van het LI-Bureau in Rabat /Marokko op 27 en 28 september.
Op 21 en 22 juni grijpt in Berlijn het 200-ste EC plaats van de Liberale Internationale. Een jubileum-meeting dus!
In het kader van deze meeting zijn er ook vergaderingen voorzien van het “Human Rights Committee of LI”, van het ” Bureau of LI” en van het ” Bureau van de ELF ” ( European Liberal Foundation.
Ook is er de voorstelling voorzien van de ” Publication of the Andorra Manifesto”.
Annemie neemt als Honorary President van de Liberale Internationale en als Bureau-member van ELF aan alle meetings deel.
Op 22 en 23 maart kwam het Bureau van de Liberal International bijeen in Berlijn.
Belangrijkste beslissing : het congres 2018 zal in het najaar plaatsvinden in DAKAR , SENEGAL.

Het grootse naslagwerk van Dirk Verhofstadt, 560 pagina’s , rijkelijk geïllustreerd ( Uitgeverij Houtekiet) wordt voorgesteld op een exclusieve avond met als gastsprekers Annemie Neyts, Boudewijn Bouckaert en Dirk Verhofstadt.

Vrijdagavond 27/10 gaat in Sophiatown de “Annual African Freedom Speech and Award Ceremony” door.
Mumsi Maimane leader DA, presents Zambian Opposition Leader H. Hichilema ( UPND) with the African Freedom Award 2017.
Annemie Neyts houdt een gelegenheidstoespraak ” Freedom is the art of life”.
Op zaterdag 28/10 leidt ze tijdens het werkbezoek aan Constitution Hill de Democratic Alliance Schaduwminister van Justitie mevrouw Breytenbach in.
